Ladies, especially those with young daughters, I would like to share some information with you about women’s health. A few years ago I stumbled on some information regarding feminine care products that we need to share with every woman we know.
Growing up we were never truly informed about many products we used on a daily basis. Our knowledge went as far as advertisements that companies put out for us to see with the intent on making a sale. Thanks to the expansion of the internet and search engines, much more information can be found and shared quickly.
No one explained the process that goes into creating pads or about the harsh chemicals used in them. Many are created using recycled materials that undergo a sanitization process that includes use of chemicals like BLEACH! Have you ever had irritation from using certain brands? These irritations may also lead to more serious complications, such as fibroids and cervical cancer.
As your body works to detoxify itself every month, you want to avoid adding more toxins at the same time. I hear many stories of young girls having so many problems with their menstrual cycle. It saddens me that when you take your daughters to the doctors for severe cramping or extended flow days, doctors never once ask about the products they use! Even worse they some times recommend putting young girls on birth control, which comes with a ton of side effects and possible complications that can effect them later in life.
We must understand that the vagina is a mucous membrane. This means that it absorbs elements quickly and easily! Our skin is literally an organ!!! Every chemical that touches our skin is absorbed into our system, which is why using natural and organic products are just as important as watching the foods we eat.
With so much access to knowledge we have no excuse to make better choices for our health PERIODT!
I’m happy I stumbled across this information soon enough to start my daughter out on a healthier path.
